Praise God, It was GREAT to be outside and shoot this video on such a beautiful day ! I had been sick for months, but I began to recover near the end of February. My stasis afflicted legs are now almost fully healed and my oxygen requirement is only half the 3 LPM it was just a few months ago! I'm pretty sure my narration of this video is complete, so I can't think of any information to add in this text. I shot this piece with a 2001 vintage RCA CC-6272 VHS-C camcorder, equipped with a homemade line-powered low noise microphone pre-amp and an Electro-Voice PL-11 Instrument Microphone. Updates: MTEMC upgraded our pole transformer from 15KVA to 25KVA on 6/2/10. Direct TV's dish is grounded on the West side of the house. The BellSouth phone network interface is on the East side of the house, immediately to the East of the A/C outdoor unit. Lightning struck less than 1000' from the house on 4/11/2011. Front panel video input on DVD Recorder in West bedroom was blown. Phone line fuses in computer protector in West bedroom were blown by low level surge. Phone line switch transistor in cordless phone/ans machine in center of house was shorted by low level surge. DVD recorder in next in line for repair. God's mercy prevailed and it looks like only low energy lightning current entered our home. The whole house surge prot. showed no signs of stress.
